Christmas
is not a public holiday in China, but all expatriates
will take their normal holidays. So the resorts, hotels,
guest houses, airlines will increase their rates during
this period around 20-50%. Though it is more expensive
than normal days, still better money value than Chinese
New Year or May Holiday, October Holiday.
Most of the resorts in Yalong Bay, the best beach area
will increase their rates during Dec.23rd-Dec.26th for
Christmas Holiday , then Dec.29th---Jan.3rd will be New
Year Holiday. Chinese enjoy only one day as new year break,
but we always try to make it 3 days with an weekend.
The normal new year holiday finishes on Jan.3rd. But Sanya
is now a very popular destinations for Russians. Jan.6th
is Russian New Year. So all the best resorts in Sanya
which are popular on Russian market offer new year rates
until Jan.9th.
